VINAIGRETTE: Because a Well-Dressed Salad is a Beautiful Thing!

A basic salad dressing is so easy to make and costs so much less than store-bought versions. You get the added benefit of knowing what went into it.

This is less a recipe and more a technique. I really don’t have a set in stone recipe for my salad dressings. My base ingredients are a good olive oil, red wine vinegar, mustard, garlic and herbs. Past the Halfway Point!!

It is July 18th and I am a few days past the halfway point of The Ultimate Blog Challenge. Admittedly, it’s been more difficult than I thought to keep up with posting once per day. MORE Raspberries from Heaven!!

Last week I was moving around the pots of herbs in my backyard, pulling weeds from them and watering them, getting them ready for the heat of another Texas summer. We are having some work done – the main reason I am moving those very pots out of the way – and the man who was prepping my yard came over.
