In sticking with the drink theme that appears to be happening this week, my husband and I attended a wine event with friends on St. Thomas. We sampled a sparkling wine, a couple of white wines, and a couple of reds.
After sampling each one we were asked to describe what we tasted, the aromas we sensed and the mouth feel.

For me, one of the most fascinating parts of the tasting was in trying the same wine (in this case a Stag’s Leap “Artemis”) in two different glasses: one in Riedel crystal, the other just a plain glass goblet. I was so surprised to taste and smell the difference it made to drink out of a particular type and shape of glass!! By the way, I preferred the Riedel…
It was a fun evening! Here are a few more photos of one of our last nights on the island.

Ooh, that sounds like fun!! I went to a wine tasting once. It’s one of my favorite memories from my 30s. 😉
It was a fun night! We have been enjoying our time here and it is a great way to end our time here!!
